I bought my first set of Technics SL1210's in 1987 and been spinning my huge collection ever since. I've reluctantly switched to CD mixing recently (Denon DN-S3500's) due to vinyl being harder and harder to track down but I still do a retro show using vinyl - can't beat it for sound.
Highlights along the way include DJ'ing at Cafe Mambo in Ibiza, cutting my own Dub Plate to play and mix at UK Southern DMC Mixing Championships in Swindon, loads of private parties and old school raves.
The most important thing I consider for my show is the music, the harder to mix the better, I like a challenge! I've been on Dance FM for 2 years.
